My just starting Coffee life

Coffee, some say they're unhealthy, and some says they're good for you.

This magical drink, while consumed widely in the whole world, has a world jsut for themselves.

I first started drinking coffee as in left secondary school, as its my best way too kick start everyday.
Back then, I drink instant coffee, this is the soluble coffee which is not to be mistaken for coffee premix. I added in creamer and sugar then.
Hey, if it melts, its not fresh coffee. If it doesn't need to be filtered, it ain't fresh coffee neither yo.

Anyway, the enlightenment came to me when I was working as a Service Crew...waiter lah, cuci pinggan and sapu lantai sort.
Responsible for making those drinks, I finally found out what's Espresso, Cappuccino, Latte, and Mocha, etc etc. Man that was fun.

It was then that my wonderful manager and the bunch of us would talk about coffee during coffee.
I saw him drink a few cuppa Fresh brew coffee without adding anything in it, just plain 'ol coffee.

So this one time I asked him, why does he does it and what's the point of drinking such a bitter stuff.
The response I get is "We you can drink Fresh Brew Coffee like me, that's when you will really appreciate them."

Right, sounds like a load of crap and high tech mumbo-jumbo to me.
Still, I'm curious...I've been drinking for years daily and what he saying is that I don't really appreciate coffee?

This opened up a whole wide crazy world to me.
I started ordering my lunch coffee without sugar, but still with Cream.
Manager says, you ain't there yet. LOL.

On another fine day after so weeks, we were permitted to have the company's coffee during our shifts for refreshment. So again I started with Milk Coffee w/o Sugar.
Until one day I suddenly tasted Black Coffee, it was not that bad, and I told my manager it taste just like beer.

Yup, the beer that I drinks every now and then is just like Black coffee.
And ever since then I've been drinking Coffee Black w/o sugar. Joking that its just like Beer.

That habit didn't stop when I return from overseas some time later.
I drink instant coffee without adding anything and eventually.
I bought socks and buy grounded coffee for my morning coffee^_^
Ends.

Early bird fortnight

The title, LOL.

Parents went on vacation.
Assistance needed in the A.M.s for two weeks.
This ended up making me living a vampire like life lately.
What's worst is being the heavy sleeper i am i end up sleeping through the whole morning instead of just half of it.
Either way, just a few days left to go, I'll get to go back to my more normal sleeping routine next week.
That is if you call going to bed after midnight normal.

My CNY 2012

Pretty much the usual.
Every year, the busy weeks before the CNY, cleaning around the houses, clear up some work stuff, annual dinner that got everyone drunk as fxxk...LOL
Anyway, its still a wonderful way to start the year.
Had CNY dinner with girlfriend, mainly to name.
Tiring work during CNY, which still pay well, not much complains there.
A year of Dragon, the mystical being that made it into the Chinese Zodiacs, the only being that we don't get to see in reality.
And just like the Dragon itself, let the mystical being work its magic.
I pray to let it work it magic for everyone^_^
Huatttt ahhh~~~~

Google's uphauling

The internet game they're playing is so fast these days that keeping up is too much fuss considering the time between changes.
Lately Google had been so busy uphauling their internet experience.
First it was Android, which I'm first accustomed to when i bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab device late 2010.
With this I've got myself a Gmail account which I had come to use more as time comes.
Then, they'd introduced this Google+ which is suppose to match with Facebook's user experience.
Both social network been dukin' it out.
Sadly i'm still using FB cuz of the traffic i have over there.
Lately, when I logged into my Blogger, i found more trace of Google stuff on it.
The changes of the UI is quite huge that it kinda confusing.@_@
What's next...

Risa, the Golden Retriever

Our family welcomed a new doggy, a Golden Retriever, which we have decided to call her Risa.

She's about 2 years old and had not been well taken cared of by the previous owner.
We took her over and decided to be responsible for her life starting a few weeks ago.
Bathing Risa for the first time we got her home.

Golden retrievers...my first knowledge about this breed of dog is when I watched the Air Bud movie many years ago where there's this GR that knows how to play basketball.

I have learned that they're quite a popular breed, amiable, friendly, bred with an instinct to retrieve, easy to train, etc.

We remove the tick and flea off her, fed her meds for heart worm, dewormed her so far, the next thing would be her vaccination.

Risa, although been through a terrible life before this, is not out of hope, although still uneasy sometimes, she has learn to trust the family, she has found her place in the family.
In a few more months time, i would like to see her being more happy, healthier too.
We taught her to sit but she's still quite confused with the command.
Also, she's a retriever that seems to be too stressed to retrieve yet.

I hope to tell her,

Good Luck Risa, we'll take care of you from now on, that you will be safe with us. This is your home now.

Took Risa on her first walk around the neighborhood when she got better.

cross out checklist.

just like crossing out a checklist, last night i crossed out another one off the list.

the item? Hoegaarden witbier (white beer).
As part of self development initiated at a time i myself not known, i'm trying to taste as many type of food&beverage as i can before i die.

Alcohol drinks is one of the largest category of the menu, although sad enough as it is that us, being an Islamic country made enjoying alcohol slightly costly than other places...

i'm still not missing this one out.

Hoegaarden, is a beer that's golden and slightly cloudy white beer, upon check made in Belgium.

Spicy, and seems to taste like lemon is my comment after drinking it.
The alcohol content seems to be slightly higher too.

One off the list, on to the next XDXD
