Thirst? Greed? Irrantionality?

Is this thirst, an unquenchable yearn for learning things?
Or is it just greed, just being greedy and wanting more when there isn't sufficient time for all?
Or, maybe irrationality, failure to process things through and picking up things not knowing if its necessity or just extra wants in life.

What I'm talking about is that as I grow up, in the little 25 years that came to past, I have always want to pick up something to do.
Maybe because I'm having much time less for them?
Although I can no longer remember much from long ago, in recent years I've tried to attend Taekwondo classes, Piano lessons, Guitar lessons, learning Japanese languages, Aikido classes, Qigong classes...

All these, I have only managed a few, and the rest was either forfeited, or I took the quitter role.

Yet, even now I did not learn my lesson, even when reminded constantly about these shortcomings that I should probably put more effort in, I'm already looking forward to learning new things.

Perhaps my Aikido master is right about what he told me, Mr. Sukri said, "Being a Jack of all Trade, you'll become a Master of none."
I've also remembered a friend once told me, Greg, he said," It's too much, cut down some..."

So, I'll remember their advices, and focus on what I've already taken up, and give them more effort.

.
I've also found a special someone, I want to make sure she's not neglected in my best ability, I'll keep trying.

I left Taekwondo?

After helping out in the Poomsae competition organized by the Taekwondo club this Sunday, I decided to write up this post.

Around this time last year was a  terrible time for me.
Juggling between works, I found myself short of energy to put more effort and time into the art that I had come to loved for years.

We're now in September of the year 2012, it's been already a year since I quit my Taekwondo training without much of a notice.
After thinking far and long I some how decided that I would not return for training even when work lightened up earlier this year.
That haven't been the easiest and happiest decision I made, but as time passed I've found it to be a path quite properly taken, perhaps I may yet return some day.

I have not done much exercise since then, and what not, I've gained weight. T_T
The only activities I done this year was swimming.
Though I'm not doing it as often as I wished and it's certainly not sufficient to burn the extra fats I've gained from food, past midnight fridge raid happens to be the chief culprit.

An acciddential lunching

23/05/12 Afternoon Partly Cloudy.

Today I had a wondering lunch and ate something I had not for months...in Kuching that is, not that I'm anywhere else significant to make a difference. The place is Zest, a fusion restaurant located at Petanak area, besides Popwave. It serves food of different cultures.

Mainly Western, but also food like on Thailand, Japan, HongKong. I ordered, a plate of Ebiko (Prawn Egg) Fried rice, an iced black coffee without sugar, and added a bowl of mushroom soup.
My food came to me quite swiftly, though I'm the only guest this afternoon it seems. The presentation of the plate is splendid.
The person taking my order got my orders correct at one try, I don't usually get that much, that little satisfaction to be noted.
Though the mushroom soup that came in last was a bit let down, too much seasoning, and too much cream, very salty. Didn't finish it. And the coffee is good.
I spent around rm18 for this lunch, and walked away a happier man.

Lastly, the food, along with menu that I've flipped through will surely have me return soon.
This time I'll mind them to hold back my food's seasoning.

Day 4

Day 4 - FHA 2012 FCC2012  Weather: Cloudy. Hazed.

Today is the day sis go to her competition. No sleep, rushed her cake till 5am.
We took a cab I booked for us the night before, and it cost us a 29SGD to get to where the Taiwan Competitors hired a Shuttle bus that will take us to the destination at Expo MRT.

It is such a gigantic place that Expo. Imagine a place made up of 9 halls, and each hall is larger than our Kuching's BCCK. Walk till our feet swollen and sore.
So sis had to do her last minute deco until 9am something whence the judges will then begin the judging.

Anyway, we spend the rest of the day inside the FHA 2012. Where people from the whole world comes to promote their products.
Espresso machines, Baking ingredients, Coffee Beans, Tea Leaves, Flavored Syrups, all kinds of stuff, soooo~cool~~

And we had lunch at Burger King where the queues are...LONG.

Apparently the result for the competition wouldn't be known till a further date with another story.

Day 2

Day 2 - Walkaholic Weather: Sunny to boiling.

Slept on the premium couch...like a log.
No bed ain't gonna stop me from falling asleep.

Today we had a lot of walking, from City Hall MRT station to Suntec City Mall, we visited the Fountain of Wealth.
Then we meet up with our friend Anna whom then is so kind to tag along and show us around after we had our lunch at the Suntec City food court.
We poured and stomped around the city center area and see a whole bunch of landmarks, old an new.

A few other places had to be visited in another day cuz we've spent all the energy we have for a day>_<

I've made further plans, hope to catch up with friends in Sg.
Thanks for today Anna.

SG trip-Day 1

Day 1  -  Reaching Singapore           Weather: Raining.

Today I landed on Sg after leaving it since 2008 Oct.
The whole group of us, 6 of us squeezed into our uncle's Honda Stream and headed off to his place at Yishun.

When we reached, we got ourselves to have a walk around the area.
We bought Singtel sim card, and was lucky enough that it was lucky number we've picked and got us 3 free backpack. Low quality, but a prize is a prize.
We also got ourselves EZlink card, which is what we will be using to get around in Sg.

Uncle took us to a dinner place called Ban Leong Wah Hoe Restaurant, Casuarina Road,  to have their famous Chilli Crab. Bloody costly meal, Thanks alot to Uncle.

That's pretty much how the day ends.
Spent the night search for places to go.

Pictures!
