A repetition of our Taekwondo Black Belt Exam.

preparing for further instruction.
it's a turning kick.
It had been awhile since I stopped my Taekwondo training around the year 2005.
About a year ago, a Taekwondo gym opened near where I lived and along with a friend, we joined the club.

It had been a year since then, and on the 5th September, we got to repeat our Black Belt exam as the previous one does not count as a valid certificate.

Ironically, we get to use our Black Belt while we take an exam to obtain a Black Belt.

The grading test begins at 1pm, but our grading session is the last, which is after all the junior belts had their exam.

Although some of our moves are nowhere near perfection, we managed to do what we can.

The test consist of some of the Poomse (pattern), basic kicking, footwork, combination kicking, target kicking, advance jump-kicking, self-defense moves, non-contact sparring, 4-direction breaking (planks), and lastly tile breaking.

Here's a video of tile breaking.

If we succeed in the grading attempt, we get to apply for a Malaysia Certificate for the Black Belt, and after that a Kukkiwon (Korea) Certificate as well.

I love this hobby:D
